Que ta tête fleurisse toujours

MIKA took a creative risk releasing a full-French album, but it definitely paid off. All of the songs are perfect examples of pop, ranging from earnest and heartbreaking to fun and rhythmic. If you don't speak French, it's worth translating the lyrics, because there are some serious and beautiful topics here. "Passager," "Je sais que je t'aime," and "Amour pirate" are some of my current more intense favorites, but "Touche touche" and "Sweetie banana" are great fun. This is a must-have for any MIKA fan or anyone who loves French pop—or anyone who wants to try something new if you don't speak French. Be prepared to smile, cry, and feel every emotion in-between.
