Grew up loving Green Day, but it’s just sad at this point to see these old guys masquerade as “punk”. If there’s such a genre as “Establishment Punk”, these guys would certainly qualify.

A classic Green Day sound with just enough modernization to sound fresh. Bobby Sox isn’t very good unfortunately, a lot of screaming and ugly noise that I wasn’t a fan of, but otherwise this is a super solid Green Day album. Not a fan of Billie Joe’s new screaming-ish sound in a few sections, which is what ruined Bobby Sox for me (although it worked very well in Dilemma), but overall this is a great time
