What a bonkers album. I nearly dismissed it after the first two singles. Production is perfect. Piano has life. Tight drumming. No way to explain it. The voice of a broken soul finding light. The delivery of Alex G. The sparseness of Bon Iver. The swagger of King Krule. The desperation of The Antlers. The texture of XX. It’s beautiful. Gotta move Mercury to the closer, whatcha thinkin?? Maximum epicness. Do this at Constellation Room, muah.
