I love how they run to their melodic ways! They even incorporate more funky/jazzy bass lines, which are so tight! For me, they were going a little too "all metal" and in a bit of an excessively djenty-heavy direction. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but Haken shines best with melodic prog metal.

Yeah, it’s better than anything else to come out recently. But it’s definitely not their best album, at least in my opinion. Sounds like they’re going for a little bit more “accessible“ sound, maybe trying for “radio friendly?”
