I went to high school with Emily and was fortunate enough to hear her play around town on many occasions. Let me tell you, she is one of the most talented musicians that I've ever heard. This is a must have from an artist who is truly worth taking a look into.

I just met this girl in Hueco Tanks, TX doing some climbing, and just love the music she makes. She truely is talented. Bright Side is totally something to add to the collection.

Wow! At this point she has eighteen 5-star reviews...what more can be said...her showcase performance at Folk Alliance was highly recommended and I was an instant fan from the opening line of her first song "All is Love." It just got better from there. I was fortunate enough to catch two more showcases during the conference and enjoyed getting to know her just a little. Included in this good fortune was the chance to hear several new songs written since this CD was released. These new tunes show an even greater level of maturity as a songwriter and performer. DON'T miss this opportunity to build your baseline understanding of the great talent demonstrated by this recording. Every song is a gem and they point to the even greater recordings to come. Buy it! You can't go wrong. Knock em out Em.

I saw Emily live in Providence, RI, and she just blew me away. Shes got a complete mastery of her guitar and voice. The lyrics are perfect; flowy and original. I would def reccomend this album to anyone who loves to just sit and relax and listen to a good tune.

I heard her live in Addison and HAD to get the cd! She's very talented and I can't wait to hear more!

First, i would like to say to the reviewer above me, if you don't deny her talent, don't give her album three stars. You don't have to know that she got into Berklee to know she's talented, just listen to the album...which you obviously didn't considering you gave it three stars. You were, in effect, rating the reviewers, which is unfair to Emily's talent and effort that was put into her album. That aside, I first saw Emily when I was in Boston visiting my boyfriend at the 5-week program at Berklee. She won a songwriting contest with "All Is Love" and I fell in love with her musicianship and smooth vocals. When I got home, I got her album and listened to it all summer, all year, and this summer as well. It never gets old. Each song is so beautifully crafted with perfect harmonies. I absolutely love this cd, I have been recommending it to everyone I know. Definitely perfect for a day by the pool, or just a rainy day that needs some cheering up!
