if you enjoy inventive melodies and guitarwork, this music is perfect for you. Bixby is amazing and hid intricate lyrics should capture your attention. If you are looking for more of a rock sound, check out The Dibs, a band that Bixby is in. They are not on itunes, but they do have a myspace and a website. great stuff for all ages.

Bixby's "City Lights" showcases an independent artist well on the path towards musical enlightenment. From start to finish this CD takes its listeners on an expansive journey full of emotional depth with lyrics, melodies, and arrangements that prove there exists a heaven on earth--beautiful, painful, loving, and uplifting. This is the music of life.

This record is a masterpiece! Songwriting full of individuality, and depth. Brett knows how to craft a profound lyric, with a melody that could only be his. Inventive and introspective. Not to mention all the great players on the album.. a MUST have in your music library. It has been in my car cd player for a few months now.
