I have never listened to this young lady before. But saw the Jimmy Fallon performance of this song and was impressed. She is really talented, and this song has a nice, smooth R&B feel that you don’t hear anymore. I’ll be looking out for more of her music.

The lyrics are very relatable and the song is arranged nicely. I particularly like how u can put it on repeat and it the beat matches up perfectly when the song restarts! I miss music like this people who call it “boring” just don’t have an attention span or appreciate artistry. Not every song has to be upbeat!
