Unlike the album released months after this one. Unlimited Love is great and every song on it is good. On their album Return Of The Dream Canteen however there are only 3 songs worth listening to.

This album is full of so many layers of great music. The Chili Peppers are at their best when they make music with John and this album is no exception. Their music has evolved over the years but as soon as the first notes hit you know it’s them. It’s a great album! I’ve been listening, dancing and singing to it for 3 days!

Okay...after reading some of these reviews, particularly the bad ones, I think some people need their heads examined. RHCP have stood the test of time, continued to create new fans in this day and age of pretty poor musical options, and have spanned generations. You can't name to many other bands that have a musical repertoire to fit any mood, still play awesome concerts, and still sound fantastic. RHCP's music changes with the times and and the artists and I think this album is as good as if not better than some of the others, love it. Nay sayers need to get over themselves, and grow up. SMH.

Thank God they are back. The negative reviews make me laugh. Band reinvents themselves every album. What more can you ask for.

I’m not sure why people hate on this album. It’s different and amazing! Love every song :) Can’t wait for the next album in October.

Not the magic I was hoping for with John’s return. Might take an album or two of collaboration to get the groove back. To me, it’s like listening to a mellow local band.

Lifelong RCHP Fan. Growing up playing my drums along with Chad in my headphones, in many ways has formed the bases of my drumming. With that said this album in my opinion is their most lack luster album ever. Much like the pandemic you just want to forget it. There are a few morsels of goodness here and there but too far and in between. Tangelo was probably my favorite track. Looking forward to the new double album. Love to hear more Funk in the next one.
