Hell is in Your Head

The conservative Christians are not coming to get you. It’s going to be okay. Please lighten up and write better music

I read that this album was supposed to have really heavy guitars (drop A tuning: A minor/C major keyed songs) and lyrics that told the story based on the aftermath of “Still Searching.” This doesn’t deliver on those elements. While there are 2-3 really good bangers on here and one could argue DO fit the album’s originally planned “path”, the remaining tracks fall short, unfortunately. Considering what Buddy was saying the album was GOING to be vs. the actual finished product, is just a let down. If you’re looking for the highlights on this record: just purchase “End of the World” “Death by Water” “What the Thunder Said”

I really don’t even know what to write here because this album is absolutely pathetic. I really believe buddy just needs to stop the band before he denigrates the band’s legacy.

This is literally the best senses fail record since still searching, you guys hit it out of the park on this one. Mad Let it Enfold you vibes on a lot of the songs

This record touches my heart and I relate to themes of loss, grief, separation, and introspection, among many others. Buddy Nielsen has taken a strong lead as primary creative force of Senses Fail and Beau Burchell’s production helps elevate the record to an even stronger sonic delivery.

Couple songs are good. The rest is pretty awful. Multiple songs about climate change and hating on conservatives. Used to be one of my favorite bands. Unfortunately they haven’t recovered from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Absolutely astonishing work done on this record. I’ve listened to it a couple times, and I confidently say this is one of their best records, lyrically and instrumentally.

I’m excited for this!!
