    This is a great album for new Heather Nova listeners and my favorite at the moment. The first song is one of her pop hits but quickly gets deep while maintaining a familiar quality. Lyrics are incredible and relate feelings and emotions to nature (Winterblue, etc) sort of like a Haiku (sorry). This work is thoughtful and catchy--you wont tire of it quickly and each time you'll pick up a new image or perspective. I just stumbled onto Heather Nova's music recently--where have I been! Enjoy.

    I love this album. I think I bought it by accident when it first came out & now it's still one of my all time favorite. I can find good in all the songs. This album is for people who have a soul :)

    "what a feeling" and "Valley of sound" are the most moving songs on the album. wonderful, heartbreaking, something to come back to again and again.

    The 2nd CD I heard of her's. All it took was the first 5 seconds of the 1st song & I instantly fell in love with it. 'London Rain' is one of her best songs ever by her and the best on this CD. Deep, dark lyrics on this CD like it's proceder 'Oyster' but this CD was slightly less favored. 'Blood of Me' is an example of a dark gut wrenching song but has a beauty to it. 'Heart & Shouder' is another great song, so it 'Winterblue' , 'Avalanche' 'Ruby Red' & listen closely and openly when you hear 'Not Only Human'. That song has alot of great messages to offer the listener.
