I own three recordings of this show, and this is by far the best one. It has Julie Andrews, who sounds better than in her Broadway version. Rex Harrison and Stanley Holloway sound much more comfortable and sing a lot more. The British accents sound very natural, and the sound quality is excellent. Although the Broadway and movie versions are still really good, this is the best.

My Fair Lady has to be like the greatest thing ever! I love it. I wish Julie Andrews had been put in the movie though, even though I love Audrey Hepburn too. I think in some of the songs such as Wouldn't It Be Loverly, Julie Andrews actually improved over the Broadway recording of the song. I think she knew the character more in this recording because the other was done so early on. You should buy Wouldn't It Be Loverly and I Could've Danced All night-definitely the best songs.

Julie Andrews is an awesome singer. This album is great! Personally, i think that she shouldn't have been passed over for the role. Oh well, at least she won an Oscar against it when she did Mary Poppins. =]
