Not Good! I’m all for artists that evolve. For the better. Spose is not. This is an honest review. I still Love Spose and I will buy the album to support him. I donated when he did his YouTube shows during the pandemic. Thank you for that by the way Spose. I bought the lost tapes that were stolen from him on bandcamp. But homeboy just sounds different. He’s not as creative. “I wore a seal skin Jersey to the seadogs game” or “it escalated like stairs that move” I saw Spose on his last tour (2019) and it was a great show. Tons of energy. But you’re not an alternative band. You’re an emcee. You’re not Weezer, you’re KRS-One, Rakim or Eminem. When you hooked up with Ekoh for cooped up, I held out hope for this album. So far man, it’s not good.

Spose has struck the balance between changing and growing, and staying true to himself that so many artist can’t seem to do. Just got my physical copy of this album today and it lives up to all my expectations. From the laid back groove of Shining and Still Sellin’, to infectious swing of Mother**ckers, every track delivers. As Spose inches closer to alt rock, folk rock, and atmospheric introspection, he still manages to deliver clever bars that cement him as one of the most underestimated rappers today.

Everything he drops is awesome! Can’t wait to hear the rest!😁 All of the songs that are out in this album already hit so hard in different ways and I’m always very happy to hear you trying out different sounds!
