Globe Trekker: Asian Journeys

Globe Trekker is one of my favorite TV shows, and the sensational music is one reason why. Unlike other travel shows that tend to be very boring, showing just historical sights, and have a lame host (like Rudy Maxa's show), this show is a fun mix of not only historical and aesthetic sights, but they also show the people, the streets, the bizarre, the cultural, the special, and the gritty side of things that you might not see in other travel vids. The show and this Asian music soundtrack is very hip, makes travelling fun, and gives you inspiration to try new things while travelling, because the hosts are doing it too! This series of music is beautiful, combining the local Asian instrumentation while throwing some programmable beats to give it a hip, ambient-filled sound, inspiring nonetheless. Its really nice music, and once I travel to Asia someday, I will be listening to this music to keep me in the "Asian Travel Mood."
