Reviews

  • Most under appreciated band in musical history?

well maybe, maybe not but essential stuff to be certain. Out of this band came the influences that in part made up the NY Dolls, Glam and the idea of concept albums, not to mention Humble Pie. Think I'm overstating this? Imagine what it's like to have seen Steve Marriot (wi Peter friggin Frampton ) Rock the Fillmore and then, some years later to wander unexpectedly into a downtown club to only to see the Johnny Thunders and Steve M on stage shredding the world. They also were the first to get airplay of a song about dropping acid. Who Knew?
