WOW - nice guy, great voice, wonderful album

I met DJ on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I bought his album there and loved it. All vocals are his, and there are only two other guys who perform on the CD (one does keyboard and one does percussion). The only thing I could compare him to would be Jason Mraz and John Mayer's lovechild (weird image, sorry). David James has actual talent... there is real honesty in his voice and lyrics, great variety, and refreshing simple production. I especially recommend "Freeway Accident", "The Cowboy Song", and "Take Me Home". This is the kind of gem you pray for when you buy a record from a guy performing on the street. All the best, DJ. Oh yeah, and he also has this great hat with a rooster on it.
