This is that common inspirational and uplifting metal but it’s actually done right and isn’t stale or mainstream. They’re sound matches what their all about as a band as a whole.

Howard still sounds impressive. Definitely a bit more commercial, but still solid and vigorous. The more I listen, the more I like it.

I couldn’t ask for a better follow up album from Light The Torch. Howard Jones has an amazing voice and happy to hear a Metal album that is not just SCREAMING throughout the entire. Personally I think it is awesome that he is showing off his vocal range and showing that he really has an amazing voice.

First album was better. Not sure that any of the songs really stand out apart from itself. Good not great…my opinion.

I love this album. Huge fan of Howard Jones. I’ve already learned 6 songs on drums.

This is exactly what I was hoping for with the follow up. Still heavy, great riffs, big choruses. Expecting big things from HoJo and the boys on this record.
  • Disappointed again.

I’m so sorry but you’ve got probably the best metal-metalcore singer that ever lived who wrote some of the greatest music in the history of mankind with Killswitch Engage. I’ve been waiting and waiting for light the torch to put out some thing killer but it’s just nowhere close to what he put out with Adam Dutkiewicz and Killswitch. I believe it’s the guitarist that is holding them back. It sounds like he is tuned down a key on all of the music and his playing just sounds so muddy. He’s very good but please please get a new guitarist. It would be a dream come true to see Howard get back with Killswitch engage. The music was so incredible!!
