As time goes on Henry Jackman keeps getting better and better. He’s proving he’s more than a Hans Zimmer lackey. Every time he’s announced as a composer I get super excited

Unlike most I did enjoy Cherry. One of the aspects that popped out most to me was that of Henry Jackman’s score. There’s so much to be said about it. The emotion out into the pieces make it both beautiful and haunting. I love the dream-like presence it has in the pieces that incorporate synth. I haven’t gotten the songs out of my head, especially The Comedown. Thankfully there’s the bonus track of What I’m Trying to Say Is...! This score is incredibly interesting and nothing like I’ve heard before.

Such an emotionally wrenching soundtrack. It pulls the heart towards the suffering that this film depicts. The piano pieces are written so tenderly, and then there is contrast with darker tones without a melody and creepy sounds behind it all. Very well done.
