I'm just loved this song, in my opinion the best in the album. I dedicated it to my 5 years old daughter.

I have to admit I was kind of skeptical at first when someone handed me this album. But when I listened to it a few times it seriously took me by surprise. The album starts off with "Over the Rainbow" and compared with the original, her vocals really soar. Another classic for her in my opinion is "Lola Sophia" she really breaks the ground with this song. And "You are so beautiful" featuring her father Brian Wilson, throws a wrench in the constant monotony of the constant pace of over produced pop music.

These are some very beautiful songs. "Forever" is personally one of my favorite Beach Boy lullabies. I once sang "Over the Rainbow" in my elementary school's chior, so I think Carnie was much better than we were. Carnie did a great job on the Elvis song "Love me Tender," really sweet. But my favorite out of all of these is the father-daughter duet on the Joe Cocker/Dennis Wilson song "You are so beautiful." Taylor Hicks did just as good on "American Idol." I hope someday when I have a kid, I'll still have my iPod so my child can enjoy Carnie.

It seems that each of these songs has its own charm. In particular, I like "You Are So Beautiful" and "A Mother's Prayer", but Carnie's lush voice is present throughout. It's sedative and addictive. Highly recommended.
  • Great work Carnie! Lots of Love In This Album.

Carnie Wilson has great talent as showcased on this album. It is great for those with kids because the songs are etheral and smooth. Many are lullibyes. The cover of Carl Wilson's "Heaven" is wonderful and so is the cover of "You are So Beautiful". What a loving tribute to her uncles. Just listen to Lola Sofia and you get a sense of what a talented songstress Carnie is. Keep up the great work. If you like Wilson Phillips, The Wilsons, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, or the Beach Boys BUY THIS ALBUM!
