I can't understand how America can tolerate week after week of the overwhelming mediocrity that comes out of American Idol and allow someone like Molly Venter to go unheard-of. Her voice is a gorgeous combination of crystal clarity and mellow innocence. She doesn't have that over-polished, over-produced sound, but instead relies on simplicity of instrumentation and melody to allow the words of her songs to tell the story.
I agree with the reviewer below that suggests that Molly may very well be the Joni Mitchell of my generation. She reminds me a little of Jewel's early stuff, but seems a bit more optimistic. All in all, I have a new favorite album. Crazy that this one has been out for 4 years now and I'm just discovering it. With a little help, maybe we can all help spread the word about this incredible artist!

molly venter is the most amazing coach/singer/person in the world and youre an idiot if you dont buy ALL of her songs!!! I LOVE YOU MOLLY you have to come back and visit !!

Mollz is alsoo my field hockey coach and today was our last practice so she sang lots of songs for us and we loooove her to death!!!

guys, this album is amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing! :) you guys should all seriously get it or else...molly is my field hockey coach and I've actually seen her live FREE OF CHARGE (wht a bargain) anyway, my mom says shes betr than Joni Mitchell who is a famous folk artist so yeah GET THIS ALBUM U WILL B SERIOUSLY HAPPY 4 THE REST OF UR DAYS

Molly is my field hockey coach at school and she is the coolest person I have ever met (and a seriously great singer!) If you dont buy this album you have serious issues. Everyone who hears these songs will immediatley love them.! WE LOVE YOU MOLLY!!!
