Vehicle of Spirit: Wembley Arena (Live)

There is no need of words to describe how good the band and floor are playing live, just listen to this album and let yourself immerse in all the beautiful songs. Wacken 2013, decades live in Buenos Aires and this vehicle of spirit are a must if you enjoy nightwish live performances.

What can you say about Nightwish? The music is the perfect mix of metal, classical, and soundtrack, the lyrics are heartfelt and personal... and Floor Jensen is simply the best singer in all of rock and roll. She has a range beyond most, classical training (she's a teacher as well), but she uses her talents properly. A lot of classically trained people in rock, it seems, wish to show off their talents by going over-the-top with it all the time, ruining the music. Floor knows exactly when to keep it clean, when to use vibrato (and how much), and when to flat out growl like the rock star she is! If you're in the states and you've never heard of Nightwish, you have to check them out... the EU's best kept secret! Some great starters into the scene are, Ghost Love Score, Nemo, The Poet and the Pendulum, Yours is an Empty Hope, and Endless Forms Most Beautiful... but do yourself a favor, Nightwish has had 3 lead singers. All ladies, all great, but Floor Jensen is the best easily. Look for the live versions in the last 7 years or so to make sure you get the best versions of the songs... the Floor versions!
