  • WHAT TOMMY SHOULD’VE ALWAYS BEEN!!!

The album was the first draft, the live show was the second, and the film was the final draft! The production and mixing is sublime, the inclusion of strings and horns fleshes out the sound, the additional vocalist add more context and continuity, the re-structured Tracklist makes it flow better and not get bogged down, and that finale! Now song saw a bigger glow up than “See Me, Feel Me/ Listening to You”, it’s faster, more epic, climactic and ends Tommy they way it should’ve ended. Not with a mid-tempo fade out, but a fast and loud BANG!!! Can’t recommend enough, don’t listen to the naysayers who say the album version was better. This far exceeds the album by every metric!!

There's no bigger fan of Pete Townshend and The Who. But--c'mon--this album, and so many other products of Townshend's obsession with Tommy--is an embarassment.
