- Love her melodies and quirky sounds

I’ve been a fan since Res biggest hit “They-Say vision” came out and I added “Let Love” to my favorites as well. “Tsunami” is a wonderful pre-cursor to all the music that defines the 2010’s sound pumped by mainstream artists like Rihanna and SZA out now. Her unique and deliberate sounds helped drive what is mainstream today.
Res has a blissful way of using quirky melodies with her jazzy/rock sound. Her overdue Grammy should’ve been for either Contemporary Rock or Pop Rock in 2001. The tracks are cool beats, smooth Rock and Roll with rhythmic melodies.

Wonderfully so, this album really hit where the R&B/Pop/Soul/Funk scene was in the early 2000s. Res' vocals add that creamy topping to an already-lovely sonic mix.

One of my favorites albums, still almost 20 years later.

This has long been one of my favorite albums since back in the day when I heard Golden Boys. I thought it really jumped out as different from everything else on R&B radio at the time. For some reason Res has yet to gain mainstream traction after all these years, but I still follow all her releases. Start here - it's a great mix of old school and modern R&B with some really great melodies/songs.

This is a great LP. Very cleanly arranged. It’s mostly R&B, but Res, sings only 1-2 notes per word! The songs are so well written and fill you up.
