Before you take take the other negative review(s) seriously, consider a few points. First is that this is the companion album for the video. And on that video (after about 50 minutes in) the orchestra starts playing the original score to this all-time classic composition. The Toronto World Festival Orchestra EXCEEDS the performance range of the original London Philharmonic at many points. That alone is worth the value for any real Moody’s devotee. But go one step further and consider that the three members of the original band playing in the video (and this album) are in their 60’s when they recorded this. I expected aged voices. Unable to hold a tune and eroded by time. Reminding me that everything gets worse with age. Instead, what I got was was expertly practiced, perfectly timed, totally in-tempo sounds that made me smile from ear to ear. If these guys got better with age (yes, BETTER) than there was hope for me in my rust years. Maybe rust was golden after all... So before you take the “not Red Rocks” silliness written by other reviews to heart - spend $10. Buy the video. Skip to the start of the Toronto World Festival Orchestra and watch every move. Every note. You will not be disappointed and will probably buy this album as well. I am.
  • Take it from a Moody fan....

There are much better ways to spend your money. The mixing on this album is very weak. The beautiful accompaniment from the orchestra gets drowned out by Justin’s failing voice. This ain’t Red Rocks for sure.
