Way back when this was released, my father would play the record almost every Sunday morning to wake me and my brothers and sisters up before going to church. Now, almost 60 now and remembering those days are priceless.❤️❤️❤️. This is such moving and spiritual and beautiful music. Timeless.

I had this LP as a teenager and saw the movie. They used a song in a movie I was watching and it brought so many memories. I was doubtful when I came looking for it but sure enough it’s here. Neil Diamond is so amazing. It’s nice to have an LP that just let’s you flyaway for a bit, leaves your troubles behind.

For many years I’ve worn a gold chain with a tiny seagull, naturally named Jonathan, around my neck. This music is a calming grace, & when I’m asked about the necklace I say this is Jonathan—then I usually need to explain where it came from. Peaceful, soothing, & great for meditating.

I have loved this music and the movie version of the book Mr. Diamond wrote the music to accompany. Best, uplifting, spiritual (dare I say that?) music and story for easing spirits.

Before Hans Zimmer or James Horner, there was.. Nail Diamond! Really? He’s a pop singer, right? Wrong, at age 32 he composed this mostly instrumental movie soundtrack which I have used to calm myself and fall asleep a few hundred times.

I’ve listened to this since it was released. It is one of the finest pieces of music ever written, in my humble opinion. The journey that Neil Diamond takes us on is amazing!

I've loved this album since I was a kid. I have the vinyl, and now thanks to iTunes, I can carry it with me too.
