Thechampishere7, you’re grouping all hip hop together, if you want to listen to a fun track don’t listen to gangsta rap there’s hella subgenres under hiphop this is it’s own

Look, TheChampIsHere07. This record is still plenty fun with tracks like Express Yourself. But, music is still fun and happy, but people also use it as an outlet for anger and other negative emotions. It’s not Satan, it’s pain, anger, and depression. This record still slaps though.

I personally think that it was this album that contributed to the downfall of hip hop. Hip hop back in the day used to be fun, innocent, dance and party but now it’s all about drugs, gangs and violence? Really? When I first heard this album I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing and it was a huge contrast between the music that was released in the 70s and 80s. The lyrics are extremely violent and it promotes misogyny and violence towards women. Seems like Satan really made a move with this album because now we have drill music and all this other violent stuff being promoted in music these days. Bring back promoting fun, innocence and life to music again and not death and descruction
