Love Love Love Veil, for that song alone I love this album, but Puzzle box is awesome too as is Nil by mouth, good dr is not my fav and still checking out other tunes.

What I love about Haken, is they never take the easy way out. Every song is filled with heart and emotion, you can tell the artists really poured all they got into it, instead of making something they know sounds nice or will sell well. With each album they continue to impress, and I’m absolutely loving this one. All of Diego’s synth tones are near perfect and steal the show, and as a fellow keyboardist, I’m insanely jealous. Ross’ voice sounds more mature, especially in “The Good Doctor” and “Veil”...don’t even get me started with how great Veil is. The syncopation between the guitar/bass/drums will forever abuse my steering wheel as I tap furiously with my fingers while driving. The guitars are so driving and rich in this album. I wish this album was a bubble bath so I could bathe in it. Excited to see you guys in Portland next month! Keep it up, and never stop writing!!! Thank you a ton for this album.

Both songs are awesome, but the album seems like it’s a little short to me! I’ll still love it I’m sure because they’re not capable of writing a bad album!

Welp. Dunno. Gonna see these guys soon, with Leprous. Love Leoprous. Haken? Not so much and this sorta supports that feeling. This seems conflicted about what it wants to be. Will go back and listen to previous and try to stay optimistic. It may just be that I like bacon better than Haken.
