    Not only did John and Cody Carpenter combine synthesizers and actual instruments to achieve amazing music they much like the music from Chuck Russell’s The Blob (1988) created sounds with such quality and relentlessness they managed to build up emotional reactions from the listeners it’s not like any remake or prequel that expects you didn’t watch the original so they assume you wouldn’t know what happens such as the Psycho remake, for example in Prison Montage it isn’t dramatic instead it knows that you are aware of what will happen so it makes you feel hopeless much like the dominating horror masterpiece The Thing 1982

    John Carpenter never disappoints in the music department, and a fair amount of this music does well to emulate and expand upon the score from the original 1978 Halloween. People say Laurie’s theme is nothing like the original, this is true but I don’t think that makes it bad. Also note if you haven’t seen the movie some of the song titles contain spoilers which is why if you haven’t seen the movie definitely go do that, then I recommend you come back and get this!
