    The mix of these songs is weird. I don't know what they've done. Maybe they compressed the heck out of the mixes. They don't sound as crisp and in your face as much as the original recordings.

    This is an absolutely terrible mix of this music, which sounded better in its much earlier mono state or two-channel stereo mix. Time and again, Doherty’s beautiful vocals are drowned out by the overwhelming orchestration, Jphn’s guitar work, and Michelle’s and Cass’ soprano and alto parts. First time I ever saw such a heavy paw fiddling with the knobs, when ordinarily these songs bounce right out of your speakers.
