  • Sylar is not Linkin Park

All you Linkin Park stans need to calm down. Yes, they are heavily influenced by Linkin Park, but the Tyler-Carter-like vocals, melancholic instrumentals and MGK-like rapping a lot different than LP. Sorry if you were looking for another Hybrid Theory or Meteora.

Sounds like a cross between Hollywood Undead and good Linkin Park. Catchy AF hooks and good riffs, what more do you need?
  • One of the catchiest albums in a long time

After giving this album just a few spins, I simply couldn't put it down! The riffs, the choruses, the raps, everything is so catchy on this album. I'll admit that some of the lyrics are super cheesy, shallow, or just not very good, but these cheesy lines don't represent the album as a whole. There's a lot of emotion and experiences in these lyrics, and the stories are told beautifully by both vocalists. I'm also a huge sucker for powerful melodies in songs, and this album absolutely nails this concept. I've listened to the previous Sylar album (Help!) as well, and while I did really like their heavier sound and the harsh vocals, I really appreciate the new sound that they've adopted here. The boys chose to push their music into uncharted territory, and it pays off big time in some of the best songs they've written to date! There is absolutely something to be said for not wanting to write the same album over again. Job well done, my friends.

Not sure what all the complaining is about. This is a job well done by Sylar. Fat riffs, catchy harmonies. Rock on.

It's like if old school POD and Linkin Park had a baby.

Miguel’s vocals is the only promising thing that sylar has Jayden needs to take a look back to their earlier work

This season needs to come around more. Much more melodic this time around, I ve had this album on constant repeat since I first heard it, and before this was never really into these guys. Many bands can put out a good song or 2 but this start to finish is really good. No way, Sickminded and Wait for you are the highlights in my opinion... another band expanding their creativity. Great job!!!
