JD Shelburne's latest album connects with me in ways I never expected. Good Ol' Boy Good Time took me back to my youth, hanging out at the lake in a small town. Young Again is a great jam, and I'll probably get a ticket while listening to it. Superman reminds me of my dad, and absolutely pegs the emotions of watching your hero fade as time catches up to him. I love this album!

JD has been played many spectacular country music concerts from Louisville, KY all the way to California. This album is proof that his music has been great and will just continue getting even better! He’s a class act, and anyone who has witnessed his music is blessed. This album will be on repeat for many years to come! Love country music by JD Shelburne!

I feel like the lyrics are too personal, specific and basic and aren’t left for people to fill in the blanks with their own similar memories. I don’t feel the passion behind the lyrics. I know the dynamic of country music has changed but I just don’t feel the passion in the voice. Background guitars/instrumentals are weak as well. Country music and become riff and hook driven and I don’t see any of this here.

You may have more reviews if this were really a country album. You must not have listen to it because every song sounds the same. It’s not country pop do us a favor crossover to pop stay out of country. There is nothing different about this album and all the other country pop singers which is stupid because country shouldn’t even be associated with pop and you think that people would figure that out. I’m saving my money for real country singer.
