If there were more than five stars on the rating thing, I wouldn’t stop until I reached infinity.
This album is f—-ing amazing. John Powell takes John Williams ‘s theme for Han Solo and all his other classic motifs and blends it in with his own score in his own style... and it sounds SO PERFECT!!!!
The best tracks in this album are
Flying With Chewie
Reminiscence Therapy
Train Heist
and Meet Han
This is the best Star Wars soundtrack since Return of the Jedi (the special edition version). Listen to the album and you’ll see what I mean.

I saw the movie a couple of times, and then I heard the soundtrack by itself. I sat back and enjoyed the adventure again sonically. I wonder what if the movie was as adventurous and exciting as the soundtrack, and then we will have a 'real' Star Wars feature. John Powell must be the choice that the producers must make to carry on the mantel of what Williams has done for Star Wars, since he captures the symphonic lush of sound as Williams did from the Episodes 1-9 perfectly (of course using his style able to balance between accompanying the most subtle of whispers to the mightiest of explosions). So sit back turn up the volume and be carrier away with Han and Chewy and relive the adventure again.
- Strap yourself in, making the jump to Light Speed.

John Powell delivers on an exhilarating ride through the galaxy with a rousing soundtrack. Use Caution If Listening While Driving! "Solo" is my favorite "Star Wars" soundtrack since the original John Williams' "Star Wars" soundtrack. With the "Solo" soundtrack and the awe inspiring work Powell composed for "X-Men:The Last Stand" - the Dark Phoenix theme and "Phoenix Rises" movement. Powell has secured a position on my favorite movie composers list, . . . John Barry, Ennio Morricone, James Horner, and Hans Zimmer . . . to name a few.
- John Powell continues the legendary legacy of John Williams.

John Powell did an amazing job with this incorporating his new themes with the old. Well done!
- Best SW score since the original trilogy

The movie bested my expectations and that's partly due to a fantastic score from John Williams and John Powell. You'll hear some familiar Star Wars themes but there is much that is new and exciting. I believe it's the best Star Wars score since Return of the Jedi.
- Best Powell Score since How To Train Your Dragon

Easily Powell's best score since How To Train Your Dragon and the Williams' score layered into Tracks 15 and 16 absolutely soar!
- Excellent score

A lot of fun to listen to- this is a really well-done score. John Williams contributes the main theme for the movie in "The Adventures of Han." All of the rest of the tracks by Powell are great as well, especially "Flying with Chewie" (which is reminiscent of Powell's work on How to Train your Dragon), Train Heist, and Break Out.
Even though I enjoyed watching Rogue One more than Solo (although Solo was still a good movie), I enjoy the soundtrack for Solo much more.
- Best Star Wars Music to Date

I really enjoy Solo’s soundtrack! Star Wars music has been starting to feel old, but this breathes new life into the franchise’s sound, managing to be new and refreshing as well as nostalgic and classic all at the same time.
My favorite tracks are The Adventure of Han and anything with Enfys Nest’s theme.
- Excellent John Williams theme helps this along

Big fan of his movie so naturally looked up this soundtrack. Better than some of John Willams latter scores in my opinion. The Han Solo theme used throughout the score and reuse of some older cues (Asteroid Field) are excellent.
