I saw JQ several times in the early nineties and they are one of my favorite bands for shows. Not only were they fun shows but we started using the term heisman for everything. Nothing like a JQ show at the Peppermint Beach Club in VB!

Great to see these songs made available after all this time. These guys funked Chapel Hill and the Cat's Cradle so many times that my transcript is still trying to recover. Relentless live shows that left you sweating profusely. I agree with other comment about the need for the Lady Cop tune, "Tower of power head to toe."

Blast from the past -Saw these guys in a bar on the outer banks like forever ago - lost my cassette somewhere along the way - these guys can really jam - they should have made it bigger...where is lady cop though?

Great old school album of JQ songs that rock! Takes me back to those college days of old but is music I still like to jam out to. Great to see JQ at the Connells show at The Pour House in Raleigh, NC December 22nd, 2006!!

OK... it seems that this band from the early nineties is still going at it. i honestly hasd not heard them since high school and that ended in 92 so you know I was surprised to see them on here. Johnny Quest was a great funk band known for an energetic live show. It seems that energy was not able to join them in the studio. The recording sounds a bit flat, the vocals uninspired, and there are some of the same songs from 1990. If I didn't love these guys back in the day i wouldn't waste my time.
