Nice score, even though this is the remastered Original Soundtrack Version, It would be nice to have songs from the Special Edition, such as ‘ Carbon Freeze ‘. I think ‘The Battle of Hoth’ is in ‘The Battle in the Snow’.
My favorites:
Star Wars ( Main Theme )
Yodas Theme
The Battle in the Snow
The Imperial March
The Departure of Boba Fett
Han Solo and the Princess
The Asteroid Field
Yoda and the Force
The Duel
Hyperspace
Finale

This is how the score was originally released. Plus we've been given many chances to own the 2 disc scores for each movie.

As the album title says, this is a remaster of the ORIGINAL soundtrack from 1980. It has all 17 tracks in the exact order as the original double LP. It's not a mistake that the album order doesn't match the movie - that's how it was released in 1980. Extra tracks like Carbon Freeze were not released until a 1997 special edition with 23 tracks, which is NOT this album.
- This IS the full soundtrack...sort of.

I noticed a lot of my fellow fans complaining that certain themes had been omitted from the soundtrack, and tracks are out of order.
Here’s what’s up.
This is a remaster of the soundtrack as it was originally released in 1980, not the complete soundtrack as it was released with the special editions. I compared the track listing to my 1980 album, and nothing appears to be missing or out of order.
- Great, of what they have

This album is great, but I noticed there were several songs they should have put in, but didn't. Such as carbonite freezing, and the Battle of Hoth. But it is great! I really enjoy listening to these songs while playing Star Wars games-Armada, X-Wing, and Rebellion. Imperial March, Hyperspace, Asteriod Field, and Departure of Boba Fett are my favorites!
- It’s okay.

I much rather prefer the SE soundtrack. So glad I purchased it before Disney/Lucasfilm did whatever they did to where you can’t purchase it anymore.
