They're back! Lovelyz, the girl group with the most recognizable vocals, serves up another amazing mini album showcasing their ability to handle fast-paced tempos and high-pitched melodies. The main track, entitled "That Day," features each member's wonderful individual vocal prowess with an ambitious line distribution that makes it hard to say who are the group's lead vocalists. However, it is the powerful unison parts and harmonies that offer the signature Lovelyz sound. Kei's vibrato, Jin's breathiness and Sujeong's raspiness blend beautifully and complement the synthesizers and rhythm guitar riffs. On every track, including the mid-tempo ballad "Watercolor," the arrangements are perfectly suited to Lovelyz's emotion and energy. I look forward to seeing them perform these songs in concert with a live band.
