Is anyone listening to this album in 2019? If they aren’t they should be. There are so many really great tracks like Illuminated and Maybe. I find myself singing along to Thump Thump Thump and Losing You To the Crowd even as someone much older than these youngsters when they wrote these songs. It makes me mostly nostalgic for my high school years with all of its angst and puppy love - these songs are a time capsule filled with the raw pain, emotion and longing of teenagers. They wrote their songs and played all the instruments on the tracks. Nat and Alex have grown so much with their newer music including Rollin’ Around and the recently released Cool Kids and Note. I’m excited to see what is next for this brother duo as they develop and experiment with their sound.
