I think this is my favorite album ever. Any time I even THINK about it, I have to listen to it, and every song on it is incredible. I originally heard of this album/band through the old Cartoon Network music videos for “Circles” and “Rolling”. I forgot about those songs for many years until I was randomly searching for nostalgic things and came across them again. As luck would have it, a local Hastings had a used copy of this very album and I bought it without hesitation. I was in love immediately. From the upbeat “Rolling” to the somber “Maybe I’ll Come Down”, everything here is weird and a little disjointed but immensely charming. This is an incredible album from a lesser known band and deserves a full listen. My only real complaint is how the seconds half of the album doesn’t feel as melodic and memorable as the first. But even with that in mind, it’s an absolute hidden gem. I cannot recommend it enough.
