I have been in love with Lindi and her music for a long time. With this album she doesn't dissapoint. A superb selection of great songs and very tasty production. Why isn't Lindi Ortega a major recording star and featured on every award show and concert tour? She is superbly amazing!

This concept album from Linda Ortega will entranced you from the opening track song “Afraid of the dark.” Lindi sings of a wild Palomino and of a past lover whom she doesn’t want to come close to her. “Till my dyin’ day” ensnares a gloomy sad love song of past regrets and a significant lost so strong that echos till the very last verse. Through the second act of the album much of the likes of a Quentin Tarantino film. The “Comeback Kid” is a song that belongs on the ending credit a Kill Bill films. In the last act it is transformed from darkness to light. You will feel a sense of victory and of belonging to this world that Lindi has made up. Escapism is important to ones being. It allows us to explore other parts of mind and soul. Thank you Lindi Ortega for this album. Hope to hear more in the future.

I’ve been waiting for Lindi Ortega to make more music. Her music has always somehow fit into my life from breakups to pick me ups. Her new single, The Comeback Kid, definitely has helped to make my own comeback in life. Thank goodness for her and her music!
