    The music is so good but the recording is terrible. Muffled and distorted. I want my money back.

    "prelude n f minor" was originally titled "prelude in f major" (typo?) on the original record circa 1963. It was sampled by Jem on the Track "They". I picked this up at salvation army two days ago. And yes this is such a terrible remaster! It sounds phenomenal on vinyl.

    This is basically The Swingle Singers first US album of any note that was then titled "Bach's Greatest Hits". It appeared around 1963 when I was in high school and was a breath of fresh air on what was thhen a rather desolate music landscape (that was soon to change). I recall that mmy other friends in band and orchestra immediately jumped on it and continued to be enthralled by other albums that soon followed. I loved it thhen and still do!

    This recording sounds like somebody used a de-noising program a little too zealously. Appalling! The music, too, is appalling but that's why we love it.

    The Swingle Singers are, by far, the best a capella vocal group ever to hit the music scene, but this collection of remastered pieces is so poorly done. The sound is muffled and it ruins what is a great group. I would suggest to customers that they get copies of the earlier original releases. This productions stinks.
