I fell in love with the band after stumbling across Glitterbug last year. I don’t think this album tops it, but it’s definitely a punch to the gut in the same way a lot of Glitterbug is. It’s a sincere, heartfelt album about self-destructive love, and it does it so, so well.

Somehow this album has helped me deal with loss of loved ones and helped create a new fan crush on Karen Gillan at the same time. I love this band and everything indie bands stand for.

Each of their albums continues to top the next. They’re just too amazing!
- It’s okay... but I like their old sound.

I had really high hopes for this album. I’ve loved all of their albums previously in full, probably because their style was so unique. Their lyrics juxtaposed the upbeat background and i LOVED IT. But, this album just sound like a completely different band. They have some good songs in there, like Turn, Cheetah Tongue, Lemon to a Knife Fight, and White Eyes, but honestly the rest of it just sounds like something that I’ve heard before. Still love the Wombats though.

Yeah, it's only February, but this will probably end up being my favorite album of the year. The first three songs: Cheetah Tongue, Lemon to a Knife Fight, and Turn offer a killer 1-2-3 punch.
This is my first Wombat album. I'll definitely be getting the rest of their catalog.
- Fantastic Album

The lyrics are immaculate and music in this album just blow me away. This album is another work of art produced by The Wombats
