Felix Brenner demonstrates a remarkable talent for bringing out a variety of emotion and tonality on this soundtrack disc. What makes it truly worthy is its ability to stand alone, without the screen images, and offer an amazing listening experience. Brenner's guitar work is so smooth and yet, combined with other instrumentation, edgy enough to capture the intended surrealist vibe.

Mr. Brenner's score and arrangement is magical. At once, capturing the suspense, melancholy, humour and madness of Dali's impending insanity. Dali's Dance is brilliant.

I saw this movie at a film festival about a year ago, it was great and the music really stayed with me. I was thrilled to find it available here. It reminds me of some of Morricone's more graceful work (Cinema Paradisio, The Mission). A must have for fans of soundtracks or fans of great music.

A friend of mine lent me The Death of Salvador Dali DVD and I thought it was fantastic! I looked awhile for a soundtrack then finally found it at ITunes. It's beautiful orchestral music that really sets a mood, plus it has great audio snippets from the film as well. In a time where most soundtracks can be inconsistent this stands up and an excellent record. Pick it up and you won't be disappointed.
