This album seems to have been made as catharsis for the battered Texas and Florida coasts with songs like Deeper In the Water and Walk Into a Storm. Great work.

Thank you, NPR, for featuring this amazing album on First Listen.. Strong influences of the Eagles, Ryan Adams (Cold Roses period), gospel and alt country yet unique onto themselves. Everyone has stand out vocals. Relateable lyrics too. The Lone Bellow, you just made my playlist (not easy).

Its hard to keep the heart alive and mature your sound. Lone Bellow seem to have accomplished this impossible task. Love these guys.

The sound is as always amazing. The lyrics are just so dark. I feel like the reason so many were drawn to you was the hoe and faith in your songs-it has gone missing. I hope you find that hope again next time. We need songs of hope-we know that life often is hard and we are just getting by.
