state radio does a great job of changing songs so that the same song can sound completely different. It's definitely worth it to pick up the two EPs. Ignore the christian guys comment for he clearly isn't a true dispatch fan. the themes of state radio's songs are very much present in dispatch, just not as straight-forward. Chad did a lot of the popular dispatch songs and it's not as though he wrote christian lyrics for one band and non-christian for the other. state radio must be taken separately than dispatch because it's definitely more rock.

This is a much harder side of State Radio that really makes them different than Dispatch. The songs on this EP are harder but just as good. I have all the State Radio stuff and this is my favorite album.

First off, State Radio is obviously, a different band, with completely different members, sans one. They have different messages in their songs...just go to a concert and youll see what I mean. other than those misconceptions, this is a great EP that gives you a good sample of who State Radio really is.

Though you may be a good Christian, not eveyone else has to be [Christian or a good Christian]. I might add that Dispatch wasn't really a christian-rock band, and "The General" was in no way a christian-message song. Get your facts straight and keep your more personal opinions to yourself. Rate the music for what it is, good listening.

When I wrote my review for Us Against The Crown, i mentioned that it was too bad the SR EPs weren't on itunes. Well, now they are. Flag of the Shiners, the first SR album, and Peace Between Nations, the second, have many good tracks not found on The Crown. And even those that are are completely different. State Inspector is much faster and upbeat than State I and I, while tracks on Peace, such as Mr. Larkin or Man in the Hall are a bit slower. The Diner Song, found on Peace Between Nations, is also definitely worth checking out. Everyone must download these two EPs!!!
