I definitely remember "Life in a Northern Town", what a great tune! But here we are in 2017 and I discover a song called "Bound To Be" for the first time and now I'm playing it like crazy. That song is bound to be my favorite song of 2017!

i may be a young kid. But I love the 80s and 80s music the whole era is just great. I found out about them from my favorite movie ferris Buellers day off. Most kids my age wouldn't even care about this, this song is always on replay for me. I listen to it daily. Just buy the whole album sit back and enjoy wonderful music

So many fond memories go along with this album. The orchestration, melodies....everything seems to flow so seemlessly. One of my all time favorite "chill out kinda mood" albums!!! I, also, would like to see more from Dream Academy on ITunes...!!!

This gem of an album is without a doubt a highlight of the 80s. Dreamy tunes, beautiful lyrics and shimmering acoustics make it an essential purchase. It's due time for this album to be remastered and revamped with extra bonus material such as extended mixes and unreleased stuff. The Dream Academy should regroup and do another album ! I hope you're reading this Nick.

This album almost seems like 60s-meets-the-80s. Love the synth pop track "The Edge of Forever". It was in Ferris Bueller's Day Off when he is saying goodbye to Sloane

Very nostalgic lyrics and fell to the music. ALL of the songs on this album are enjoyable, most of them promote a sense of relaxation and simpler times. I Love this album as well as the follow up album "Remembrance days".

...in making this album available to Itunes, as it's a phenomenal debut from this group. Two pieces of their work appear in Ferris Beuller's Day Off: "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" (the museum scene, instrumental music), and "The Edge Of Forever", just before Ferris races home; I keep looking for the group's follow-up albums here, which are just as unique as this first album (Hint, iTunes)....

This song had me dancing all night! It reminds me of my summer home in Caseville, MI, and because of this song, I go up there every weekend. It's a two hour drive and this is the perfect soundtrack! "Life in a Northern Town" makes me cry every time I hear it!
