The Story So Far...

I kinda like what he's done here. But does anyone else find it strange that 3 out of the 11 songs on this album have a time of 3:11? Yeah, weird I know.

Zack music makes me smile every time I listen to it. I was fortunate to see him live with 311 a few years ago and he's just as good live. And always a treat when him and Nick sing together: )

i am a huge 311 fan, so as you could imagine, i heard of Zach Hexum through his brother Nick. I was bored one day and figured that i'd check it out, assuming that it would be a 311 rip off band. when i first heard "Princess of Darkness", i was absolutely blown away. what an amazing song. nothing like 311 at all, he def earns my respek as some one that completely steps out of the shadow of his older brother. Apon reading more about him i learned that he records all the instruments himself. he totally earns my respect as one of the premier musicians. i cant wait to hear more!

Zack has a fairly good album here. For me, the first 3 tracks really stand out. "Spicy Streak" is another good one that I easily find myself singing along to. As for the other tracks, it seems like there are some issues with harmonies. They sound kind of awkard. Especially for the tracks "Outside Opinion" and "One Spin". In some places it sounded like I was listening to Gavin DeGraw, which is a compliment to Zack's vocal ablilty.

Simply put-- really great songwriting with layers of sounds that get more interesting with each listen. A case in point of the free download leading to a sale.

His music is very different from most music out at the moment. It's refreshing. It's definitely an album I won't mind hearing over and over again.

I have to admit I had not heard of Zack Hexum, but after getting his free song of the week not to long ago I was hooked. After purchasing the album I was not dissapointed. This album is a must buy in my opinion. Zack is going to be around for awhile!

hes lucky i gave him a 2 b/c i got the free download and i dont like it at all srry but i give it 0 stars for the song how many times 0 stars for the album and 2 stars for the free download[[only cuz i love free downloads

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this because I rarely like every track on a CD. Zack has a great voice and the music is fun and doesn't all sound the same (unlike a lot of artists). Personal favorites are Spicy Streak One Spin and Outside Opinion. If you're looking for something fun and different, check out this CD.

I got "How Many Times" as a free download, and loved it. However, I come here to download the whole CD... and I'm dissapointed. It's kind of like a Gavin Degraw wanna-be rip-off. The only song I reccomend is "How Many Times".
