Rock Kills Kid - EP

for some odd reason this reminds me of snow patrol. not a bad thing.

Over 50...retro face...retro hair...retro taste (I guess). Heard RKK on NPR. Had to get the tracks. This band kicks. Hope that the fact that they appeal to me doesn't hurt since I am obviously not their demographic. Maybe a generational cross over? There may be hope yet.

These guys are awesome... If more than 5000 people request them to VH1, they might be able to play their music video... hopefully, since these guys are kinda new to the big name music industry, they could go to VH1 as a break-though artist... thats how James Blunt got so famous... so Rock Kills Kid should have no problem getting famous, all they need is a huge group of fans requesting them to VH1. They deserve it!

These guys are awsome live. if you get a chance to see them in your town you should check them out. not many bands/groups sound good live anymore these days, but these guys ROCK! support real artists!

I got Hide Away when it was a free downloadable song. I thought, oh great, another crappy song. But i listened to it and i was amazed. = )

this is probably the best music i have heard in a while. all of these songs are awesome, i would buy more but im still waiting for more. Hide Away - very good vocals and sound in this song. Are You Nervous - slower song, but still very awesome Paralized - Best song on the list, very cool Raise Your Hands - catchy guitar riff, very nice

The EP by Rock Kills Kid is incredibly good. Paralyzed has been blasting through my headphones for three days straight. All the songs are fantastic and each one is unique. And to think, MTV actually told me about a good band!

OMG!!!! When the free download for "Hide Away" was there i coulden't resist!!! But i ABSOLUTELY love this ep!!!! get it for sure!!!

I usually don't get the free download of the week because there just not my type. This week I heard "Hide Away" and thought the 30 second demo was pretty good so I got it. Now I just can't stop listening to it. I now have ALL of their songs and I think all of them are fantastic. If you like rock, pop, and some punk this is definatly the right band for you. They can sing a wide variety of music which makes them even better. These guys and songs are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Modern English's "I Melt With You" plus vintage early-90s U2. Great single, though, if you like that sort of thing.
