I was at the point of giving up on Hip Hop unitl I heard Mic Capes. I'm tired of the auto tuned rappers that have nothing of value to say. Mic Capes saved me by releasing Concrete Dreams. It's raw yet polished, deep yet fun, new and refreshing yet familiar like the neighborhood you grew up in. Basically, Concrete Dreams is 18 tracks of the tightest lyrics and beats I've heard in a long time. Thank you!

I love this album so much!!! I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert for free, and I knew after the show I would have paid good money to see him perform. This talented rapper, singer, performer, and advocate is a fine example of the Portland music scene!

Listened to this yesterday, beginning to end. It's powerFULL. I immediately sent links out to friends. I was asked what about it resonated with me. For me, the heart of it. It's painful, impassioned, hopeful. "Black Pearls" is beautiful and "One 4 O'Shea" is especially relevant. I think Americans need this record.

Mic Capes truly shows the potential of the Portland (PDX) music scene and I cannot wait to see how far he goes! Hip hop is back! Excellent work. This is an album you play from start to finish! No skipping through tracks. I appreciate good art when I hear it. Definitely worth the time and money!
