Theories of Flight

FW is in my top three life time this lip has evolved from mythological, up to ivory gates of dream(consciousness) to from the roof tops and 7 stars (astronomical and future science mixed) or at least that’s how I see it love the whole thing tho some of the music if you pay attention sounds like X and even a little like disconnected. No matter FW has not lost its place in my life since no exit they have carried the feelings of life and music the way I can relate to. Tour de force

Even though I love Ray Alder in Redemption- I can honestly say I miss him in Fates Warning and this new cd is worth the wait!! Excellent Return to one Incredible timeless band!!

Been a FATE'S fan since the beginning. As krodpod mentioned in the comment below, its difficult to pick a "favorite". I must say this one is inconceivable! Matheos creativity is astonishing and beyond belief. Ray's rediscovering his Roots as lead singer and has surpased my expectations. This cd is amazing!!!! Love it!!!!

I've been a long time listener of FW. They have never disappointed me. I think Jim Matheos is a genius. The album is further proof of that. Buy it! You will not regret it.

This band is such a different animal than it was when I first started listening to them. I remembered absolutely wearing out songs like Guardian and Exodus. The singer change to Alder made them different but still amazing I loved No exit and Parallels the song eye to eye off parallels remains one of my all time favorites ever. I have purchased everything this band has ever put out but somewhere along the way say maybe the disconnected cd I found myself losing touch with them in fact the more "proggy" they became the less interest I became. Although still brilliant I found myself liking parts of song rather than the songs as a whole. Along comes Theories of Flight. The CD I have been longing for a long time now. Heavier more structured songs that you can really sink your teeth into. Great lyrics and guitar solos. Great choruses that stick in your head. Seven Stars jumped right out to me. The song The Light and shade of things is absolutely brilliant. I like this Fates the best of all heavier with prog elements, rather than thier Prog dominated material. This CD is full of gems and overall an absolute masterpiece. A must own for Fates fans.

I am stunned!!! All these years, they continue to grow and put out awesome music !! This is one of the best sounding albums yet!!! Can't wait to see and hear any of this live!!! 🤘😎🤘

FW is always genre defining and incredible. After what was to me a below average Darkness record, this one reaches their highest heights. Few bands come even close.

Man,Ray hasn't sounded this awesome since the APSOG album!!Can't forget the heavy guitar riffs,amazing drumming and flowing lyrics on this album!!A top 3 Fates Warning album in my book!Really digging the whole album from start to finish,not a bad song on the album!If you haven't heard much Fates Warning this is the album to buy!!You will enjoy it!!!
