I enjoy elevator music. So I enjoy this. Its relaxing, something wrong with that?
  • Great Background Music...but gets boring otherwise

Great dinner party b/g music! Won't offend anyone and will get a smile from those who recognize the Marley in the subtle dinner music.
  • Great (unless you're dogmatic about Bob Marley)

Discovered this music at The Coffee Asylum on Ko Lanta Palm Beach in Thailand... it was the perfect music for the perfect setting. My girlfriend said it was a Marley cover mistake until she heard a little more of it, then she liked it as well. So, dogma aside, it's a worthwhile addition to any chillout music collection.

on a vacation to argentina, i heard this album being played at the restuarant. i had to buy it- she has a very unique, sexy voice, and the covers are all very listenable. buy this if you like easy-going, summery reggae.
  • Is Marley Sacred?

Nope, but I am a huge Marley fan, and suprisingly enough, I like this especially the cover of "Sun is Shining". Why should Bob Marley's music not be covered in some new creative way?

After buying Bossa N´ Stones I was seduced by the Bossa Flavours, this time I´d tried with the Repertoire of the Great Bob Marley. The Combination of Lyrics Written by One of the Most Passionate and Pacifist Songwriters of Our Time Along with the Elegant Arrangements of Bossa Nova and the Futuristic Spirit of Electronic Music Are a Natural Mix. Bossa N' Marley Includes Hymns for Universal Brotherhood and Songs of Revolt that Take on New Significance with a Sound that Fits Snuggly Between the Tradition of Bossa Nova and the Innovation of Chill Out. Like Its Predecessor, Bossa N' Marley is an Album that Delineates an Exciting Trend in Music.
  • Bob is sacred!!

Bob Marley is sacred and his music should never be made into music that sounds like this. If you are a true Marley fan you will not enjoy this!

Simply put, I don't think you should smooth out distinct rhythms like Bob Marley. There's enough of that kinda stuff out there. Bad idea!
  • Neither caipirinha nor caipiríssima

Take a Brazilian caipirinha. Replace the cachaça with white rum and you get a caipiríssima. Replace it with water and you get this collection. This is neither Bossa nor Bob.
