These guys give drunken Irishmen a bad name. I think I need to a couple of meetings to recover from this booze music.

For a "best of" CD this is not a very good one. You can't go wrong with the Pogues and every song on this CD is good. However it does not cover their whole career and the many styles and phases the band has seen over the years. Songs like "White City", "Fiesta", and "misty morning", while being good songs hardly deserve to be on their "best of" CD when better songs such as "Lullaby of London", Summer in Siam" and even "If I Should Fall From Grace With God" are missing. For all of Shane's troubles he is a class poet and songwriter and I think by calling this a "best of" CD, not enough credit is being given to this legendary band.

Sayonora, Lorca's Novena, Hell's Ditch, Sunnyside of the Street, and Summer in Siam are missing. Unnacceptable.
