I absolutely love this record. I just saw them in Chicago 5/13/17. It was truly life changing. Ian sounds amazing. Billy truly loves playing for his fans. Thank you. ++The Cult++

This is a throwback to Ian's mystic indian connection he was playing with during Dreamtime, Sonic Temple and Ceremony. Billy Duffy is Billy Duffy, raw, reviling in electric heroin, Billy knows how to cut to the chase and get wicked with it. Hinterland, GOAT, Dark Energy take the cake, pounding drums, dark and moody psychosamatic, excellent capper in the trilogy of Born Into This, Weapon of Choice and now Hidden City. Get it you can thank me later.

This is the best rock album in years. The Cult is the most underrated band in the world. Billy Duffy's guitar sound is amazing! Hoping they come out with a deluxe box set of unreleased material soon.

So glad The Cult is still writing! Great album, they stay true to their sound without sounding repetitive! Highly recommend!

Their best album yet! An energetic, yet thoughtful, offering that should be getting more attention and airplay than it does...simply because many people have lost track of or are unfamiliar with the band. Perfection.
